These two cottages are set in the beautiful unspoilt valley of Hall Dunnerdale, Seathwaite, which overlooks the cascading River Duddon and has panoramic views of Caw Fell, Harter Fell, Birker Fell and Coniston Old Man.

Hall DunnerdaleThese traditional holiday cottages which have beautifully converted from a traditional Cumbrian barn and provide excellent accommodation. retaining much of the original character, and all enjoy beams and lovely views.

The properties offer a peaceful retreat for those looking to "get away from it all".

Stunning Scenery

Surrounded by spectacular scenery this is an excellent central base for either walking or touring the rugged fells and beautiful lakes.

The Hard Knott Pass is ten minutes away by car where you'll pass the ruins of the Roman fort. Further down the valley you'll find Eskdale and the Cumbrian West Coast. Wrynose Pass, in the opposite direction, leads through the Langdales to Ambleside.

Local Towns

You could travel south and find the small market town of Broughton In Furness, where small local shops will entice you with fresh bread, baked daily on the premises, vegetables and locally bred meat. The picturesque little towns and villages of the Langdales and Ambleside are an easy and scenic drive with the interesting Lakeland towns of Kendal and Ulverston a little further afield.

Fifteen easy minutes walk away you'll find the Newfield Inn pub and there is a small village shop with an off licence within a couple of miles
